They say, don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits. Trying out our limits sometimes is perfectly normal for us. And the sophisticated applications with fairy lights definitely belong in this case.
The layout we present this time we think is one of our most beautiful creations. Not only for its beauty but also for the fully successful result of stimulating a space that really needed it. Therefore we created a very romantic 3-sided Fairy Lights Sunshade Roof with curtains on 2 sides.
The Briefing
The main purpose was to portray a very classic – you can see it on pinterest – layout with fairy lights on a pergola. Underneath this pergola would be the dining area featuring a big rectangular table that would accommodate the 25 guests of this intimate wedding.
The Specs
This fairy lights arrangement had to serve two different purposes. On the one hand, to decorate the empty pergola and give a fairy-tale style to the area underneath, but on the other hand it had to give enough light so that no additional lighting would be needed thus the romantic effect of the fairy lights would not get spoiled.
The Outcome
Eventually 36 lines of fairy lights were needed in a symmetrical layout and equal spacing. Each line was a single array of fairy lights which made the installation a little more demanding but in the end the result really rewarded us.
