Traditional Greek – Australian – Serbian Wedding in Paros | Greta & George

Serbians know how to party, but Aussies know better

August is a month that surprises us every season. Every August a very special couple on their search for the right wedding DJ in Greece will meet on our way. This time it was Greta and George. Α very friendly, comfortable and cool couple who were looking for an amazing wedding DJ in Paros for their destination wedding. It was a full match from the first moment we must admit.

About The Couple

George and Greta live in Australia, but both come from different countries. This made us realize from the beginning that we were dealing with a multinational wedding. And we can’t describe how much we adore multinational weddings. Greta comes from Serbia, and that was definitely one of the most beautiful challenges this wedding had. George, on the other hand, comes from Macedonia, an area of Greece famous for its way of having fun. These two features alone were enough to catch us excited and take on this Paros wedding with great enthusiasm.

About The Wedding Party

The couple explained to us from the beginning that they were not just looking for a wedding DJ in Paros. Rather, they were looking for a skilled DJ who could host different cultures in a single night in the most imaginative way possible. They didn’t need to tell us much more, Michael had already started getting ready.

The Soundtrack of the night would contain everything. Serbian music (due to the bride’s origin), Greek music (for the groom’s side) and obviously a mix of classic international party bangers for the rest of the international guests.

The Fairy Lights

A great addition to this wedding was the special arrangement we designed with Fairy Lights. The original plan was to fill the entire Blue Dolphin Paros area with Fairy Lights. We eventually ended up in 7 different arrays of Fairy Lights suspended over the dance floor and the dining area. We also used a simple String Lights layout for the downstairs area where the restaurant entrance was.
