Another wonderful experience awaited us at the wedding of Alberto and Olympia in Monemvasia. The wedding took place at Lazareto Hotel in Monemvasia in July 2017, but the memories it left us to this day couldn’t help us to resist and so share it with you.

Olympia comes from Greece and Alberto comes from Italy. Both of them, however, met in Switzerland, where they have been living for the last few years. From the first moment they decided to get married they wanted to get married in Greece, so that’s how our paths crossed and got to know each other. Their search for a great wedding DJ in Greece was the reason they contacted us. As usual, another great story of amazing wedding entertainment in Greece was about to begin.

As with almost all mixed culture weddings the challenge was exactly what we expected. We needed to manage to somehow satisfy both the Greek and the Swiss but also the Italian audience. The average age was quite low and the couple clearly wanted a strong modern party. It was then when we realized that the perfect fit for this wedding was our DJ Rapahel Michailides.Undoubtedly Rafael was the only one who could handle those nearly 200 guests. Both at the wedding reception party and at the after wedding pool party that followed at the Lazareto pool the next day of the wedding.

The reception started off smoothly, as it suits to Italian finesse and Greek lifestyle. With a very smooth and dream live duet of stringed instruments, where Artistic Productions’ talented musicians really gave a little recital.

Then the couple’s entrance followed, and after that everyone had dinner. It was there that the first surprise for the guests took place. It was a short film showing the couple’s acquaintance story. Video greetings were also given from friends and relatives who could not come from abroad. It was already time for the second surprise from Alberto to Olympia. An amazing show of high standard aerial fireworks.

Then it was Olympia’s turn to surprise the groom with a spectacular fiery fireworks show where the place shone out of it. It was in fact a sparkling marquee sign with the couple’s names casting millions of sparkles everywhere. Everyone was left with their mouths open in front of it.

The party started with the couple’s first dance. With a very difficult choreography and live violin accompaniment, the couple sealed their special day and then we were ready to start. Raphael started off without skipping a beat. At first, he did a very fast mixed set of popular Greek traditional music hits. We are in Greece after all, isn’t it? After this part was completed, he moved forward with more modern sounds including House, Rnb, Mainsteam, Funky Disco and even Progressive music for the hardcore guests with demanding ears. Apparently, in the playlist there were also quite a lot of carefully selected Italian hits as well as some Swiss sounds. This amazing party ended a few minutes before sunrise. In a few hours were going to continiue this party at the pool upstairs.
