This Bill Wilson Quote could very easily describe the love between Elias and Irina. And we can confirm that because we spent 3 whole days with them during their wedding celebration in Mani. Bill Wilson is right and this couple’s love affair can totally confirm that. But let’s get things from the beggining, shall we?

Elias and Irina met and fell in love in the United States of America. Elias comes from Greece and Irina comes from Russia. They got engaged in Mani in July 2018. They have since adored this place and promised to return to this wonderful place to get married. So it happened. Exactly how they planned in the first place. Shortly afterwards, they contacted us looking for the right DJ in Greece who could make their wedding party an excpetional one. They both love electronic music by the way. However we cerntainly have DJs in our team who are experts in this genre. So we moved forward into booking the date. But this was just the beggining.

At first it started out as a joke, but eventually it became a reality. Irina loves electronic music as much as Elias. After all, this is one of the things that brought them together. As we discussed the flow of music and their choices, Elias told us that both are big fans of the well known DJ duo Vijay and Sofia. Over a joke, Mike replied

If only they could be there. It would be so nice to have them play at your wedding. Can you imagine it?”

That alone was enough to get the idea to Elias and organize the ultimate surprise for his beloved Irina.

All the wonderful experience starts from the pre wedding party. A unique cocktail party in Telonio, during the sunset. Telonio is by definition an amazing summer bar right on the sea with a great view. DJ Meneer’s music (A! By the way, this wedding had a great DJ line up, we’ll explain below) created the ultimate relaxing mood for the day to come. Deep house and techno sounds with great choices and unparalleled technique that we couldn’t afford to admire. One of the few times that we have even felt real wedding guests. Fortunately this wedding was a great occasion.

The wedding day was a particularly difficult day due to the weird weather conditions. Luckily after a few rain drops, the clouds disappeared and open a clear way for a remarkable night. That’s we only needed to get started. The music program started, as in any traditional Greek wedding with Greek music. Although Mike does not often have the opportunity to dust off his Greek repertoire, he did it very well. After the Greek part come to its end, the music stopped. They all turned to look at what was going on. Elias took the microphone and reassured them all. It was time for the big announcement of the evening. Without anyone knowing it (except for him, us and the wedding planners) he had arranged for Vijay and Sofia to play live at their wedding party. We cannot easily describe what happened at that time. Irina was thrilled to fall into his arms while exclamations of excitement and joy were heard from the other guests.
