It isn’t rare for us to have a good time at weddings we perform. But we simply love some couples. And much more we love the moments we spend with them. A good example would be this Crazy Israeli Wedding in Evia Island in the summer of 2017. The closest it can get to a wedding DJs dream.

As with any perfect wedding in Greece, the couple plays a decisive role. By the time we received the request from Wedaway‘s team it was like the dance floor had already been set on fire. Mayaan and David gave us only two things. A very simple, cleverly made playlist and a command: WE WANT IT CRAZY. Such a brief fit perfectly with the craziest DJ our team could have. Without any further discussion it was handed over to Rafael Michailidis.

Mayaan and David had exactly the point they needed. A wonderful yet fun wedding needs simplicity and variety. They just applied this core to the entire wedding. For example, the very simple wedding ceremony they had on the beach. Without even a single piece of decoration, they just stood in the sand and exchange their vows of eternal love and loyalty. Their 90 guests who came all the way from Israel were just standing on the beach too.

To make things more authentic and interesting, the cocktail featured a bouzouki and guitar duet. The classical Greek melodies were beautifully tied to the ambience of Thalatta Beach Hotel. The cocktail was followed by a romantic dinner by the pool. The highlight was definitely the Ouzo shots.

After the dinner was over, Raphael took over. The beginning of his DJ Set was some classic Israeli wedding songs. Rafael’s experience in Israeli Weddings was definitely a useful ace on his sleeve. From the very first song the dance floor just exploded. it was really a crazy wedding with some really crazy guests. The DJ set included also a few Mainstream sounds, plenty of Rnb but also Techno & Progressive tunes as a grand closure. The most epic feeling we felt is that we didn’t see anyone missing from the dance floor until the end of the night.
